Quick Start
Three steps to start using Lim.
Step 1: Download and install
Head to Download & Install and grab the package for your platform:
- Windows: download the installer and follow the setup wizard
- Android: download the APK, or scan the QR code with your phone
- HarmonyOS: download the app package (or get it from AppGallery)
Step 2: Sign in
On first launch, sign in with the account provided by your organization:
- Enter your account and password
- Complete the security check (if enabled)
- You will land on the main screen
Your session is stored securely on this device, so next time you will be signed in automatically.
Step 3: Start talking
The main screen has four core areas:
| Area | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Chats | Browse conversations, send direct and group messages, handle unread items |
| Contacts | Explore the organization, find colleagues, start a chat |
| Workbench | Open collaboration apps such as cloud drive, approvals and calendar |
| Me | Manage profile, notifications and app settings |
Send your first message
- Pick a colleague from Chats or Contacts
- Type in the input box and press Enter to send
- Images, files and emoji are all supported
Multi-device sign-in
Lim supports being online on desktop and mobile at the same time:
- Messages sync across all devices in real time
- Messages received while offline are re-delivered once you are back
- Signing in on a new device never disturbs your existing sessions
